When creator Matt Thorson’s once Ouya-exclusive TowerFall comes to PC and PS4 next week as TowerFall Ascension, it will do so with a significant amount of additional content in the form of Quest and Trials modes.

In Quest mode, up to two players battle waves of various monsters across across the game’s arena-like stages. When playing with a partner, each person must coordinate and cooperate with their teammate to ensure they both stay stocked on arrows (of which there’s a limited number of that players can hold at once) while avoiding accidentally killing each other via friendly fire.

Trials mode, meanwhile, is a purely single-player experience that challenges players to hone their archery and movement while taking out straw dummies in time trials.

TowerFall: Ascension launches on PS4 and PC March 11, which will henceforth be referred to as TFall Day. Keep an eye out tomorrow for our TowerFall Ascension review, as well as a Let’s Play livestream.
