Towerfall—the most noteworthy game on Ouya at the moment—is getting ported to PC, bringing with it a “fully fleshed-out” single-player mode and a slew of other additions, creator Matt Thorson told Shacknews.
“It’s going to be a massive update. I can’t wait to see how people react,” Thorson told Shacknews. “It’s always great to see the moment when players realize that they can catch arrows, and the gameplay implications of that. At the Ouya booth at E3 I saw a little girl get super excited about the game and drag her mom over to show her; that was almost too much for me.”
Towerfall is a 2D multiplayer-centric free-for-all brawl in which players go toe-to-toe using arrows that cause one-hit kills. The game has been likened to Super Smash Bros. It’s not something easily explained in words, so check out the trailer embedded below to gain a better idea as to what Towerfall is.
According to Thorson, the PC version of Towerfall is still a few months away. The game is currently available on Ouya.
