Turbine Entertainment, developer of Lord of the Rings Online, has stated that it is not working on any new dungeon instances for the game.
Community manager Rick Heaton confirmed at a recent event that the developer is not working on dungeon content, but may work on updating some of the game’s older zones in 2014. Heaton also added that their are no plans to add in-game housing to the Rohan area.
It was also revealed that “significant technical issues” are currently preventing the developer from merging servers.
Turbine launched the game’s fifth expansion, Helm’s Deep, back in November, which added five new areas in western Rohan and massive battles that allow players to fight alongside iconic characters from The Lord of the Rings series.
