One piece of news that came out late during the weekend was that the rebirth of Twisted Metal for the PS3 would be undergoing a ratings change – that from Teen to Mature.

“Without blood, it felt a little weird, frankly,” Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe said.

The original idea was to go for a Teen rating, to ensure that a wider audience would be able to play the game, but Jaffe’s team at Eat, Sleep, Play decided that they would have to sacrifice too much of what they wanted to do with the game.

As well, here are a few gameplay videos from Jaffe’s discussion about the game at last weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con.
