The Twitch Plays Pokémon stream has started work on Pokémon Platinum, and the creator has added a new gambling component to the stream.
Holding steady at over 1,000 viewers, Twitch Plays Pokémon is still a thing. To give people something to do while trying to work their way through Platinum, the creator has added a new component to the stream that allows viewers to bet on the outcome of Pokémon Stadium 2 matches. Players simply enter the amount they wish to bet form their pool of money, and will win or lose based on the outcome.
“As an aside to Pokémon Platinum, random matchups in Pokémon Stadium 2 are played with random moves input for both teams, you can bet money on the outcome of these matches,” the creator explains. “The command is
!bet <amount> <team>, everyone starts with ¥1000 and will never have less than ¥100. Your current balance is the dimmed value next to your bet amount.”
“You can only place bets during the pre-match betting phase. If you bet more than you have your bet will not be accepted.”
