Twitch has revealed when you’ll be able to purchase tickets for the second annual TwitchCon, which is scheduled to take place this fall at the San Diego Convention Center.
Tickets for the three-day event officially went on sale today on the company’s website, with discounted early bird tickets already sold out. The tickets come in three pricing tiers according to time of purchase and provides three-day and single-day options for September 30th through October 2nd. Three-day badge prices are distinguished by type as well. Here is a full breakdown of the prices:
- One-day passes:
- Friday, September 30th only: $49 (Early bird price: $44)
- Saturday, October 1st only: $79 (Early bird price: $71)
- Sunday, October 2nd only: $69 (Early bird price: $62)
- Three-day passes:
- Community: $159 (Early bird price: $143)
- Partner: $127 (Early bird price: $127)
- Industry: $399 (Early bird price: $359)
Again, it appears the Super Early Bird price option is unavailable until further notice.
Badges are assigned by type depending on whether or not the purchaser satisfies certain conditions. A community badge is for fans, a.k.a. the general public, including regular con access to panels and the exhibit hall. A partner badge are for those that can prove their Twitch account is officially partnered with the service at time of purchase, and grants community perks as well as the partner lounge access and plenty of networking benefits. The industry badge offers all of the other badge benefits with the addition of private industry and networking opportunities. Check out the official FAQ for a complete breakdown.
TwitchCon is scheduled to take place in San Diego from September 30th to October 2nd and will feature several panels, Twitch personalities, and numerous community activities.
