Two Classic PS2 RPGs Coming To The PS3 Soon

THE BUZZ: Sony has been pushing the idea of bringing classic niche PS2 titles to the PS3 as digital downloads—and soon, two more will be coming our way.
EGM’s TAKE: So, on their official blog, UK publisher Ghostlight broke some very exciting news: both chapters of Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga will be up for sale on the PlayStation Store in the “near future”.
Being the hardcore Shin Megami Tensei fan that I am, this is awesome news to me. That fact that Sony has been pushing to get some of those under-appreciated, now hard-to-find PS2 games into the hands of PS3 owners is an absolutely welcome thing to me, and these two games are perfect for such an initiative.
Now obviously, as this announcement was made by Ghostlight, it covers only the UK release of the games. However, it would be hard for me to imagine the Digital Devil Saga games going up across the pond but not here in the good old US of A. Atlus hasn’t said anything themselves yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear an announcement that the games will be hitting the North American PS Store soon.
After that—how about Nocturne? Or Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon?
