THE BUZZ: While coming as no surprise to anyone familiar with Persona 4, two additional characters have been shown off for Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena via a new batch of screenshots.

Those character are, of course, junior detective Naoto Shirogane, and lovable fuzzy mascot Teddie (or Kuma as he’s known in Japan). Naoto will have a number of long-range attacks available to her, while Teddie is said to have a more comical style which includes tossing items at his opponent.

Also now confirmed is the fact that J-pop starlet Rise will indeed not be playable in the game—she’ll provide commentary during matches, which players will be able to turn on or off.

EGM’s TAKE: The big question now is who gets announced next. Aigis hasn’t really been shown off yet beyond one screenshot, so no doubt we’ll finally see more of soon. But who the last two characters going to be? Side characters from Persona 4, or maybe a few more choices from other Persona titles?
