Battlefield 3

THE BUZZ: Today, two developer commentary videos of Battlefield 3 were released, showing off a pair of new maps from the game. The first shown is Operation Firestorm, demoed in 64-player Conquest mode via the PC version. The second takes us to Grand Bazaar, played in Rush mode on the PS3 build.

EGM’s TAKE: Really, I think I prefer when game elements like maps are revealed in this way—with somebody from the development team actually playing on them and commenting on what’s going on. It gives you such a more meaningful look at the new content, versus just your standard teaser trailer.

What do you think of Operation Firestorm and Grand Bazaar? Let us know in the comments below!
