THE BUZZ: Two new Japanese commercials have shown up for Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition, showing off some of the game’s characters and gameplay.

EGM’s TAKE: I honestly still cannot believe that this is a real thing. I mean, I can believe it, because Japan loves to come up with some wacky game ideas. But no, really—I still can’t believe it.

And yet, I find myself starting to warm up to the idea a little. I mean, it could be fun in a totally wacky way, right? It’ll also be interesting to see a more historic take on Pokemon catching/training/battling.

So, okay, sure. This will actually be a real thing, and I’m okay with that.
