Call of Duty continues the series modern tradition of shoehorning famous athletes into its games with two Pittsburgh Steelers football players recently revealed as playing parts in this year’s WWII.
According to a Twitter post by running back Le’Veon Bell, he—along with offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva—will play roles in this year’s installment of Call of Duty. An image of Bell and Villanueva fully rendered in the game accompanied the post.

Last year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare saw UFC champion Conor McGregor play a role in the shooter, while the year before that, NFL player Marshawn Lynch made a small cameo in Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. More of WWII‘s campaign characters were recently detailed in four new trailers, and these ones will likely have slightly more impact on the story.
