Two Spelunky Add-Ons Now Available on XBLA

Two DLC packs for Spelunky are now available for purchase on Xbox Live Arcade.

This news comes straight from the horse’s mouth, announced by developer Mossmouth on Twitter:

Surprise, Spelunky DLC is here! xbox.com/en-US/Search?q… We made 8 new playable characters and 24 new Deathmatch arenas to get them killed in!

The Explorers introduces eight new explorers for the single-player campaign and deathmatch mode: the Cyclops, Eskimo, Golden Monk, Ninja, Robot, Round Girl, Round Boy, and Viking.

The Arenas DLC adds—surprise!—new arenas, 24 to be exact.

Both add-ons cost 160 Microsoft Points.
