Aspiring game developers Massud Sarahi and J. Lee are working on an 8-week project to get a better feel for the ins and outs of game creation, and for that project, they’ve decided to play around with putting together a version of Super Mario Bros. using UE3.
In the first video, you can see their work on worlds 1-1 and 1-4, which at the time had no enemies. In the second, we return to 1-1, but this time with at least a base level of Goombas present. The sound effects that go along with that video are just… classic.
By the way – I know, the image has little actual connection to what you’re seeing in the videos. I don’t care, because it’s awesome.
