THE BUZZ: When the Splinter Cell HD Trilogy was released in September, a few things were oddly missing—one of which was the ability to set inverted aiming.
Now, however, Ubisoft has started to fix that very issue. As of now, a patch to add back in the option for inverted aim has hit for the PSN version of Trilogy in North America and the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) region. Meanwhile, Joystiq reports that the retail release of Trilogy will be patched soon.
EGM’s TAKE: This may seem like a small issue, but it’s huge in terms of gameplay for many players—including myself. I can think of at least two different games I’ve played in the last couple of months where I had to change the setting for Y-axis aiming from what it was defaulted to.
It I push up on the stick, I want to look down; if I push down, I want to look up. Inverted aim for life!
