Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed Recollection

THE BUZZ: Ubisoft today announced Assassin’s Creed Recollection, a new title in their popular Assassin’s Creed series. Ubisoft hasn’t said exactly what kind of game Recollection will be, but from the description and screenshots, it seems as if it will be a trading card / strategy type of game.
According to Ubisoft, Recollection “has been developed from the ground up for the iOS platform, taking full advantage of the unique control system,” and will allow players to “compete with friends in a real-time online multiplayer mode or hone their skills offline in the single player mode.”
“Assassin’s Creed Recollection lets fans discover and amass a wide variety of artwork created for the Assassin’s Creed franchise,” Ubisoft’s press release continues. “Players also will be able to compete in political battles in a real-time strategy game with key characters and locations from the Assassin’s Creed franchise.”
EGM’s TAKE: Though I’m still not exactly certain how the game will even play, it sounds like a project that should be quite at home on iOS. Really, though, we’ll have to wait until Ubisoft gives a clearer picture of the game.
