Ubisoft has officially confirmed that the next Assassin’s Creed game will be titled Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag by releasing box art for all four versions of the game.

The game will be coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U, with the PlayStation 3 version getting 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay, according to the box. The box art appeared on both Ubisoft‘s and the official Assassin’s Creed Facebook pages, and shows our new hero standing on the deck of a ship with a pirate flag in the background–except this one has a skull inside the Assassin’s Creed logo. It’s pretty safe to assume that this time the game will take place in a pirate setting, so bad news for all your land lovers.

Stay tuned to EGMNOW.com on Monday, March 4th, at 9 AM PT for our first full preview of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
