Need for Speed

Ubisoft has announced that their upcoming open-world racer, The Crew, is set for a fall debut on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The game’s re-creation of the United States purportedly takes an hour and a half to traverse from LA to NYC, and developer Ivory Tower includes many veterans from the Need for Speed and Test Drive Unlimited franchises, so the racing pedigree is strong here. True to its name, The Crew features multiplayer elements that see players forming their own racing “crew” to take on various challenges and zip through the game’s diverse landscapes, which will offer big-city glitz along with quaint mountain roads, among several other backdrops.

Ubisoft also unveiled a new gameplay trailer today that highlights some of the areas featured on this coast-to-coast trek, such as New York City, Maine, the Appalachian Mountains, Mt. Rushmore, and Los Angeles Harbor.
