Ubisoft Massive Working On Next-Gen MMO – Could it be Assassin’s Creed Online?

World in Conflict, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Far Cry 3 multiplayer developer Ubisoft Massive is currently working on an MMO for next-gen systems.
A job listing on the company’s website states that the developer is staffing for a ”highly ambitious AAA Next-gen Online RPG project” and mentions that applicants should be familiar with the workings of PVP in an online environment.
The current speculation is that Massive is working on an Assassin’s Creed MMO, which given the popularity of the franchise would be the obvious choice. The idea of the game moving to an MMO environment is both exciting and daunting – the move-set and free flowing movement should meld perfectly, but the story aspect and characters will be severely compromised. Of course there’s no official mention of the Assassin’s Creed franchise being used so it could just as easily be a completely new IP. We don’t expect to here anything official until at least the end of the year.
Would you like to see an Assassin’s Creed MMO? What features should be included?
