Ubisoft: Multiplayer Improved In Assassin’s Creed Revelations

Last year Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood introduced multiplayer into the series for the first and although it was met with critical acclaim it wasn’t without its issues.

Users reported various problems with matchmaking, including freezing, long wait times and occasional crashing. Ubisoft were quick to release patches to fix these errors, however in Revelations they plan on eliminating as many issues as possible before the game launches.

Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer Director, Damien Kieken told Digital Spy;

“We learned a lot of things from Brotherhood and with the closed beta of Brotherhood, and we fixed a lot of those things by patching the last game to make it much better,”

“We have changed the matchmaking design-wise [for Revelations]
to be much more flexible, so you can start the game with fewer players
and we have things which make it so you can just come and get in a

“We are also using a playlist system with four available playlists so if
you don’t find a game you want you can easily go to another one. In
this way at the end of each mode you can vote for another one, or go
back to matchmaking and just keep on playing.
