Rocksmith 2014 will feature 55 tracks total (pre-DLC) when it ships this fall, Ubisoft today announced today.

Players who own the original 2011 Rocksmith will be able to bolster their audio library by importing the original Rocksmith‘s songs (though it will require paying an additional fee). The transferred songs will gain new features for 2014, including automatic tone switching, articulation, and timing and instant riff repeat.

Rocksmith 2014, which can be played with any real guitar or bass that uses a standard 1/4 jack, will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, Windows PC, and Mac OS X on October 22, 2014 in North America.
