Assassin's Creed

Ubisoft fans attending Gamescom 2017 will be treated to exclusive in-game rewards for going hands-on with the publisher’s demos.

Ubisoft’s Gamescom offerings will include Assassin’s Creed OriginsFar Cry 5South Park: The Fractured But WholeMario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and The Crew 2, in addition to the newest seasons of Rainbow Six Siege and For Honor, the third season of which will premiere on August 15th.

Ubisoft will have over 300 stations for players to demo the games listed above, and players who go hands-on with any of the Ubisoft games at Gamescom will earn in-game rewards through Ubisoft Club, though the rewards themselves weren’t specified. It also isn’t clear if the demos playable at Gamescom will be the same demos that were playable at E3 2017. We’re likely to get at least some new info on at least a few of these games, given the attention Ubisoft has paid Gamescom in past year.

In addition to the game demos, Ubisoft will also be hosting Rainbow Six Siege‘s Pro League Season 2 finals, Just Dance shows, and a display featuring eight Assassin’s Creed costumes from famous cosplayer Rick Boer.

Gamescom 2017 takes place in Cologne, Germany, from August 22nd through 26th.

Michael Goroff has been gaming for almost three decades. He's a lover of all games and systems, but he mostly plays Xbox. That being said, if he's a fanboy, he's a fanboy for the game industry as a whole. Spit white-hot fanboy hate at him, trash talk his Gold II rank on Rocket League, or maybe just send him a cordial hello on Twitter @gogogoroff.
