Ubisoft has teased its fans by stating that it is preparing a big Splinter Cell announcement, and has released a cryptic image to boost excitement.

The publisher released the image above with the following teaser, “We’re getting ready to make a big announcement.” It doesn’t really give much away, but the image does appear to show someone who resembles a cartoon version of Splinter Cell‘s lead protagonist Sam Fisher.

If I had to have a guess I would go with some kind of comic based on the series or maybe even an anime. That seems to be the safest bet based on the drawing.
