Ubisoft Unveils Interactive TV Show ‘Rabbids Invasion’

Posted on June 10, 2013 AT 03:58pm

During their pre-E3 press conference, Ubisoft—in partnership with Nickelodeon—revealed their latest transmedia project, Rabbids Invasion.

The project was introduced and detailed by Adrian Lacey, Ubisoft French Studios’ IP business dev director. With Rabbids Invasion, Ubisoft promises interplay between viewer and the viewing experience by taking advantage of the Xbox One’s new Kinect. Based on the live demo performed during the press conference, it’s not so much directly interactive as it is an interactive minigame overlaying the pre-established video content.

According to Lacey, Rabbids Invasion is set to launch “very soon”—presumably November, when the Xbox One hits store shelves.
