Retailers accidentally putting up product before they’re announced can often be a good source of discovering upcoming games—and in this case, we might now know two big Vita titles set to be revealed at E3.
From UK online retailers Zavvi and Game UK come these two listings. First up is Assassin’s Creed III, which—before quickly being pulled down—was shown with a release date of October 31st, the same day as the European launch of the console versions. What’s interesting is that the temporary box art used for the game’s listing has an “Only on PlayStation” tag—leading some to wonder if the Vita version will be a Vita-specific game, and not just a port of the console versions.
The other title leaked (and then pulled) was Ghost Recon: Final Mission, given a “TBC – 2012″ launch date. What exactly this will be is anybody’s guess at this point.
We’re getting into the final stretch leading up to E3, and Ubisoft will have their own pre-E3 press conference—so it won’t be long before we no doubt know the exacts on both of these.
