Ultra Street Fighter IV character and system changes detailed

All 39 Ultra Street Fighter IV characters are receiving various balancing changes, Capcom detailed in a recent blog post.

In addition to the various character changes, universal systems will also be altered in Ultra Street Fighter IV. Delay standing, for one, can now only be performed against hard knockdown attacks and by pressing any two buttons when the character hits the grounded. Characters will also remain floored for 11 more frames than previously.

Red Focus, EX Red Focus, and Ultra Combo Doubles are also receiving minor tweaks. Ultra Combo Doubles allow characters to use both Ultra simultaneously, dealing either 75 or 60 percent damage of their normal ultra damage. Zangief, Cammy, Fei Long, T. Hawk, Makoto, Hakan, Dhalsim, Rose, Akuma, E. Honda, and Hugo are all 60 percent damage dealers, while all remaining characters are 75 percent damage dealers when it comes to Ultra Combo Doubles.

The full list of changes, including character-specific ones, can be found on the Capcom-Unity blog.

Ultra Street Fighter IV will launch in North America in June on PS3 and Xbox 360, August on Windows PC.
