THE BUZZ: It’s official folks—Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has gone gold. As in, development is done*, finished, over! The game is now on its way to Sony’s disc replication facilities, so that it’ll be made in time to hit store shelves for its November 1st release date.

As part of the announcement of the game going gold, Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli also revealed that a little bonus will be packed in with every copy of Uncharted 3: A voucher code for early access to the Starhawk multiplayer public beta coming early next year.

EGM’s TAKE: *but not done in terms of making fixes and other updates to the game. At least, hopefully not, as players all across the internet have expressed their frustration at how Uncharted 3‘s multiplayer has actually gotten worse between the previous beta test version and the current Subway multiplayer promotional version.
