Uncharted: Fight For Fortune Announced for Vita

Well, look at this—a new Uncharted game revealed for Sony’s Vita! It might not be what you’d expect, however.
Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is a new “action-adventure turn-based card game featuring the heroes and villains from the Uncharted universe” Chris Reese from SCEA Bend Studio announced today on the official PlayStation Blog. Yes, indeed—this is an Uncharted-themed collectable card game in digital form, as I believe the kids these days call them.
According to Reese’s description for the game, players create “Factions” made up of the characters from the Uncharted franchise, and then beef up those factions with Resource and Fortune cards. One interesting element of this is that—via an upcoming patch—artifacts found in Uncharted: Golden Abyss can actually power up your cards and decks in Fight For Fortune.
And, of course, the “fight” part of the game’s name is what you’ll then be doing with your completed deck. While the exacts of gameplay are only hinted at in the below trailer, if you’ve ever played any sort of battle-based card games, I’m sure you can guess at how things will go here.
Uncharted: Fight For Fortune will be hitting on December 4th for $4.99. And, you know—for those who are into collectable card games, this might not be a bad little companion to that free copy of Golden Abyss you’ll be getting via PlayStation Plus.
