Uncharted

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy—the stand-alone expansion for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End—launches this year, and it’s coming sooner than many might have thought.

Uncharted fans can pick up The Lost Legacy on August 22nd for $39.99 in the U.S. The price tag may sound steep, but recent hints from developers suggest the game’s campaign could exceed 10 hours. Additionally, The Lost Legacy comes bundled with the full multiplayer and cooperative experience of Uncharted 4, meaning players do not need to own Uncharted 4 to get that content.

Series protagonist Nathan Drake is stepping down for this installment and handing off the spotlight to recurring support character Chloe Frazer as she and Uncharted 4 antagonist Nadine Ross hunt for an ancient artifact called the Tusk of Ganesh. Their adventure will take them on a trek through India, a sneak preview of which can be seen in the game’s latest trailer.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4 when it launches this August, and it could likely be developer Naughty Dog’s last Uncharted game. On a more positive note, pre-ordering the game through participating retailers gets gamers a free digital copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for PS4.
