Zipper Interactive’s Chris Roper has confirmed that the demo will be released February 21 on the PlayStation Store. The demo will ”give you access to one of the game’s Direct Action missions and includes all six operatives and online leaderboard support,” he announced. On top of that your scores and progress will be saved and carried over to the full game.
EGM’s TAKE: Unit 13 will be one of the first shooters on the handheld and could indicate how successful this genre will be on Vita, considering how much they struggled on its predecessor, the PSP. Hopefully the twin sticks should make it feel just like a home console, and the superior graphics power of the Vita should really help with immersion. If you’re looking for a way to test the Vita’s abilities without forking out for the full game then be sure to check out the demo tomorrow.
