An unnamed Xbox One launch title required a complete audio overhaul, Develop reports.
While speaking at the Game Music Connection in London, Microsoft Studios audio director Paul Libson mentioned how they had to completely overhaul one game’s audio after it failed to meet Microsoft’s standards.
“We did the full lobotomy,” Libson said (as reported by Develop).
As audio director, Libson’s job is to hire and manage teams of sound engineers, composers, and aural experts to help maintain audio quality that’s up to snuff as far as Microsoft’s standards are concerned.
Libson, of course, did not mention the name of the game in question.
