Sucker Punch Productions plans to install several new options into inFamous: Second Son based on player input, studio founder Brian Fleming announced in a post on the PlayStation Blog.
“To say thanks, not just for all the support but also for your passionate requests to make the game better, we’ve started work on a few small features which we’ll be delivering in the weeks to come,” Fleming wrote.
These features include the ability to change the time of day in Second Son’s digital Seattle upon completing the game, the option to completely turn off the HUD, and the option to lock Second Son at a consistent 30 frames per second.
In addition to these new features, the dev team is also working to address bugs and produce fixes for the upcoming patch.
“And who knows…if we’re inspired enough, we may sneak a few other little things in too,” Fleming added. “Time will tell!”
According to Fleming, the soonest these additions would be implemented is about two weeks from now.
InFamous: Second Son launched on PS4 a little over a week ago, on March 21, worldwide. For more on Sucker Punch’s first PS4 project and the new, more grounded direction of the inFamous series, check out Marc’s review.
