Star Wars Battlefront

Following the release of the squad system improvements update, EA and DICE have shared an updated roadmap for Star Wars Battlefront II.

Kicking things off in October will be the introduction of General Grievous, who will use his Jedi Hunter appearance as the default. In addition a Battle-Damaged appearance will be available to purchase with Credits and Crystals at launch. As well as this, the N1 Starfighter will be added as a fighter class ship to the Hero Starfighters game mode. Finally, the October update will make changes to Hero Health Star Cards, making them available to every hero.

Following in November will be Obi-Wan Kenobi wearing his Jedi Master appearance by default. Obi-Wan’s Robed appearance and another to-be-announced appearance for General Grievous are also scheduled to arrive this month. Also arriving in November are the Geonosis map for Galactic Assault, new Clone Trooper appearances based on the 212th Attack Battalion, and new vehicles.

Sadly, there will be no game updates in December, as the team is “preparing the Clone Wars content releasing in early 2019.”

The new Clone Wars content mentioned above begins in January with the release of Count Dooku, a new appearance option for Obi-Wan, and Coruscant Guard appearances for Clone Troopers.

Finally, February 2019 will see the introduction of Anakin Skywalker as a new hero alongside a brand-new “large-scale, non-linear game mode” that features “capture points and capital ship takedowns.”

Star Wars Battlefront II is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
