Updates coming to Battlefield 3 Battlelog dog tag tracking

THE BUZZ: On the official Battlefield 3 forums, a representative from DICE gave a few details about updates coming to the Battlelog’s dog tag tracking.
In regards to the overall system, DICE representative Inkh said:
We’re gonna make some improvements to the dog tags page so it’s easier to understand the difference of unlocked and taken dog tags.
This will no doubt be a welcome update to the dog tag tracking, but Inkh was then asked if the idea of adding the name of the player dog tags were taken from is going to be incorporated, or if that idea has been scrapped.
We’re gonna show the name of the person you last took a specific dog tag from and what time. We can get data from many different sources but we’re gonna start with what we have in our real-time system, and then we’ll see what more fun we can do with data after launch.

EGM’s TAKE: Little things like these are what beta tests are all about. With so many things going on with a game, it can be easy for the developers to overlook, forget, or simply not think about how certain features will work when in the hands of actual players.
