THE BUZZ: The upcoming Super Mario 3D Land won’t be the only soon-to-be-released Mario title to contain the return of a classic Super Mario Bros. power-up.
Reveled today, the Super Leaf (and resulting Tanooki tail) will be part of the upcoming Mario Kart 7, where players will be able to use it both for offensive (hitting opponents and knocking them around) as well as defensive (protection from incoming projectiles and shells) need.
EGM’s TAKE: This is certainly an interesting addition to the Mario Kart franchise. Unfortunately, thanks to the internet, all I can think of when seeing these screenshots are photos I’ve come across of furries walking around malls with fake tails attached to their jeans.
So, thanks internet.
