Ubisoft has revealed that Uplay members will be granted “privileged access” to the Far Cry 3 multiplayer beta when it launches.
Uplay’s brand development manager, Alexandra Andrieux told Videogamer that “there are programs for our Uplay members to have privilege access to the beta when the game launches.”
“In the American territories… they have the ability to participate in the beta because we know that they are a Uplay member and we put them first,” he added. Previously the only way to be guaranteed beta access was to pre-order Ghost Recon: Future Soldier from select retailers.
This access is only for North America at the moment, no mention was made about Europe being offered the same deal.
