THE BUZZ: Consumer tracking service Nielsen has revealed that game console usage is up 14% over the last year in the US. According to the report, game console penetration in US TV homes grew 4% over the second quarter of 2010. Baltimore reportedly had the highest video game penetration in the US according to the figures.
EGM’s TAKE: Thanks to the surge in casual gaming the amount of consoles in homes is growing year on year and this can only lead to good things for the industry.
