Valve has added a new section to the front page of the Steam Store that offers a brief overview of games that have recently been updated.

Not only does the “Recently Updated” section highlight the latest games to receive updates, but also those that have recently received new DLC. Developers will be able to choose if their game is highlighted in this section by using new developer tools that were made available alongside the update.

“The more options developers have for communicating about their products the better it is for everyone,” Valve’s Tom Bui said a press release. “With this new product section and corresponding developer tools, customers can more easily discover products that provide ongoing value and involvement from the developers.”

This new handy section allows users to quickly locate the latest patch notes for games without having to hunt through the Steam Community. There’s also the option to just see recently updated games that are in your Library.
