Valve Details 2012 International Dota 2 Championships

Valve has announced the details of this years International Dota 2 Championships. This year sees a brand new venue for teams to do battle in.
The tournament is moving from Cologne, Germany to Seattle, WA, right on Valve’s doorstep. Last year the tournament took place at Gamescom and offered a $1 million grand prize.
This year it will be held between August 31 and September 2 in the Benaroya Hall as part of PAX Prime. It will be broadcast on the Internet in several languages for free. Dota 2 teams DK (China) and defending champions Na’Vi (Ukraine) have already been invited to take part. More information will be revealed in the coming weeks.
