Valve’s Chet Faliszek has stated that Left 4 Dead 3 could happen at some point, but refused to make any promises when quizzed about a new title.

“A 3? You know, sometime down the road,” he teased in a recent interview with Eurogamer. “Like anything, I would say that to all of our games. So that’s not a promise of when or where. I really love working on that series. It’s one of my favorite series. It’s just so much fun with the characters and the world. I love zombies and I love horror. So, yeah.”

Valve is currently working on incorporating Steam Workshop into the original Left 4 Dead for PC, which will allow players to create their own outfits, new game modes, and more.
