Even though Valve has been typically hush-hush about any mention of the often-rumored Steam Box, they’re nonetheless working something rather big. Now, you can be a part of it.
Valve is running a playtester survey on their official site, asking you a variety of questions, such as:
- How many consoles do you know?
- How often do you play video games?
- How long have your played video games?
- What’s your favorite game of all-time?
- Do you ever get sick playing video games?
- What’s your zip code?
All of it’s pretty run-of-the-mill, but the survey does note that Valve may be doing playtests across the country.
If Valve is indeed working on some kind of PC/console hybrid competitor to the PS3 and Xbox 360, one would think that some playtesters will leak critical information. However, Valve is very good at keeping their secrets.
