Valve has put up a teaser site for what appears to be its new virtual reality headset.

The teaser for “Valve Index” says to “upgrade your experience” in “May 2019.” There’s little else to go on at the moment.

Valve previously collaborated with HTC to release the HTC Vive VR headset for SteamVR, but this appears to its own standalone entry into the virtual reality hardware market.

Leaked images of Valve’s VR headset first surfaced in November last year, and back in February 2017 Valve’s Gabe Newell revealed that three new virtual reality games are in development at Valve using the Source 2 engine and Unity.
