Verizon to Bring 26 TV Channels to U.S. Xbox 360s

THE BUZZ: Verizon has announced that its new FiOS TV service will arrive on the Xbox 360 next month with 26 channels.
The new app will only be available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers who have the necessary cable subscriptions. Verizon will also be offering a package deal to new subscribers which costs $90 a month and includes Internet and phone services. The channels include:

ESPNews
Food Network
HBO 2

MTV
Nickelodeon
Spike
TBS
TNT
Travel Channel
truTV
VH1
SD Channels
Boomerang
Cartoon Network

TV Land
EGM’s TAKE: If you already have a Verizon subscription then this is great news for you, if not then it might be worth switching if you desperately want TV on your Xbox 360 and you don’t want that many channels. Stupid distracting choices!
