As teased all last week, the latest trailer for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us debuted during the VGAs.
In addition to the interactive, cinematic gaming experience Naughty Dog is known for, The Last of Us promises to deliver the emotional gravitas a serious post-apocalyptic story demands—and looks, well, just fantastic.
Of course, I may have a slight bias. Anything set in or near my homecity of Philadelphia tends to pique my interest.
Depending on how well Naught Dog executes the relationship dynamics between Joel and Ellie, The Last of Us has all the potential of being the video game equivalent of The Road. Only, you know, with more fungal-based zombie creatures.
