VGAs Teaser Video for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

THE BUZZ: As part of the upcoming Video Game Awards 2011 show, the full cinematic trailer for next year’s Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be revealed. For now, however, a teaser video has come out—and what a tease it is.

EGM’s TAKE: Without question, this is one of my most anticipated games for 2012. From what I played of War For Cybertron, I loved what High Moon Studios did with the characters and gameplay, and cannot wait to see what we’ll get when you take those ideas and give them a deeper level of polish.

Playing multiplayer, transforming into a vehicle, racing around the stage, seeing an opponent, transforming back into robot form mid-boost, and taking them out with a well-placed barrage of gunfire—those were the kinds of things I dreamed about doing in a video game while playing with my Transformers toys as a child. When I finally had the chance to do that, it was just as awesome as I had imagined.
