Video Games Live Plays Guile’s Theme At E3 2012, Still Goes With Everything

Posted on June 18, 2012 AT 11:31am

If “Guile’s Theme” goes well with things that have nothing to do with video games, then one must assume a video game concert must be the absolute perfect place for it.

For many years, Video Games Live has thrived by doing masterful orchestra renditions of memorable video game arrangements and symphonies. During the first three or fours years I attended the concert, I didn’t hear anything from Street Fighter, as it probably hadn’t been added to the line-up yet.

Since 2010, though, composer Tommy Tallarico and his team have been rocking the Street Fighter music at various shows, and have continued to do so even at E3 this past month.

If anything, the segment has just gotten better and better. Check out the video below, recorded earlier this month at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live arena by someone with really good seats—most videos we get on YouTube are usually way back in the nosebleed section.
