Prepare to relive the good old days on your PlayStation Vita as Sony has confirmed that update 1.8 for the handheld will add support for PlayStation Classic titles.
The platform holder mentioned the new firmware during its announcement that PlayStation 2 games were coming to the PlayStation Store in Japan. No specific date was given for the firmware upgrade, however a summer release window was mentioned.
Support for PlayStation Classics would be fantastic, I know I’ve played it hundreds of times before, but a chance to play Final Fantasy VII on the move again without having to dust off to the PSP would be nice.
