THE BUZZ: A while back, a rumored list of pricing for PS Vita memory cards came out, and many weren’t happy with the high numbers they saw. Today, Sony released an official list of PS Vita memory card pricing—and things aren’t as bad as feared.

Here’s the official list of card sizes and prices, along with the previously-expected price listed in parenthesis.

4GB: $19.99 ($29.99)
8GB: $29.99 ($44.99)
16GB: $59.99 ($69.99)
32GB: $99.99 ($119.99)

EGM’s TAKE: Sure, the prices are still somewhat on the ridiculous side, all things considered. However, I’m glad to see that they aren’t going to be quite as insanely priced as that previously-released rumor list seemed to hint at. It’ll still hurt my wallet to pick one of these up when I get my Vita, but now it won’t hurt quite as bad.
