Gamescom 2012: Warren Spector Wants an HD Version of Epic Mickey on PS3, Xbox 360
Posted on August 17, 2012 AT 10:49am
With the upcoming Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, the previously Wii-only series is making the jump to a variety of consoles. However, creative director Warren Spector would still love to see the original Epic Mickey appear on HD consoles.
Talking to Joystiq at Gamescom, Spector said that he very much wants two things: “I want to make a duck game [referring to Disney's Duck Tails franchise] and I want to see Epic Mickey on next-gen platforms.”
Spector stated that he’d recently asked to have an HD version of the original Epic Mickey put into production, but that it wasn’t his call to make.
“I can’t even tell you how much I want to see the first game with all the enhancements and improvements we’ve made on Xbox 360 and PS3,” Spector said.
