Code Vein

Two new trailers for upcoming action RPG Code Vein offer a look at the game’s opening cinematic and great sword weapon type.

The opening cinematic shows a young boy being chased by the Lost, Revenants who have lost control after giving in to their bloodlust, before being saved by the game’s main cast of Revenants. Mia then throws the child a Blood Tear, which Revenants use to keep their bloodlust in check.

While the second trailer introduces us to the game’s great sword weapon type, which is slower than the one-handed sword, but does more damage and can strike multiple enemies.

In other news, Bandai Namco recently unveiled a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which include the God Eater collaboration weapon set, the Venous Claw, the Desperate Burst Skill, additional cosmetic items, and various communication stamps.

Code Vein launches September 27th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
