Watch Dogs on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be graphically comparable to the PC version on high settings, according to creative director Jonathan Morin.
When asked by a follower if PC on high settings would be comparable to PS4 and Xbox One, he simply replied: “PC High settings = NG Consoles.” However, I”m guessing this doesn’t take into account the difference in resolution (900p on PS4 and 792p on Xbox One) and framerate (30fps on both consoles), and is just based on how the game will look.
Morin also revealed that although the minimum PC specifications ask or 6GB of RAM, the game may still run on 4GB ”if nothing else is running, but when it swap to your hard drive it will lag.”
Watch Dogs is scheduled to release May 27 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. A Wii U version is set to follow in fall 2014.
